BioHow quickly we become the hollows of drums Nickname: kat Age: Seventeen. Gender: Go ahead. Take a wild guess. Hometown: Manhattan, New York, United States of America. Life: It's not like I have a choice, but I'll make the best out of it. Art: What I'll be doing for the rest of my life. Can't live without it. Piano: Love/hate relationship; see above. Music: Also can't live without it. School: IT OWNS MY ASS. Sleep: What I need more of. Job: Have one, like it. It involves working with children, which isn't too bad. Fandoms: Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Soul Eater, ReBoot, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and many more that I fall in and out of every so often. Icons: Too goddamn easy and fun to make. Need to get back into the habit of making bunches of icons. Books: I need to put together a to-read list and ask for recommendations. Movies: Probably should put together a to-watch list for this, as well. Manga: Something I should probably read more of, especially since I have a list of recommendations waiting for me. Anime: See above, only replace 'read' with 'watch'. Either way, it'll probably take me longer to watch a series than read it. Fanfiction: What I need to write more of, seeing as I have 12302948203984 ideas, as well as a few fics in progress. LJ-based RPG Games: TOO ADDICTING. Friend-add policy: DO EEEEET. But uh. the rests between notes There's not much I have to say about myself, other than that I'm one of several billion people out there, specifically one with a vivid imagination, decent writing and drawing skills, a fondness for unusual things and internet access. This may or may not be a good thing. I tend to be shy, but once I feel comfortable around you, it's difficult getting me to shut up. Give me a subject, and if I know enough about it, I'll analyze it to death, or parody it. Or both- at the same time. I believe having late night chats full of stupid, nonsensical comments that have you laughing your ass off (or shedding tears from the effort of trying to stay silent during late night chats) are some of the finer moments in life, because you're doing what matters most- something that makes you happy. I have the tendency of occasionally shoving my foot down my throat while talking, but that doesn't stop me. Which brings me to this- in my possession, I have, amongst other things, bitter sarcasm, cynicism, an odd sense of humor, and the wish that this translated well through text, because more often than not, it leads to the aforementioned shoving of my foot in my mouth. I wonder if it'll ever get permanently stuck there. | |
